Career Poster
Objective: Students will create a career poster based on a career of choice. The students will also choose a movie that is connected to the career. For example, in the movie "Men of Honor" Cuba Gooding plays the role of a Navy Diver, who ultimately becomes the first African American Master Chief Sergeant. This career would fall under the “Government & Public Administration” cluster.
Students will retrieve strips of paper from the color paper rack in order to design their poster. Markers will be provided. Students will also use pictures of their favorite career as well as a picture from the movie. MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE A CAREER THAT FALLS UNDER ONE OF THE 16 CAREER CLUSTERS:
